Because we're still only about a year away from starting qualifying. It's why we can't just kick Bradley and Jozy to the curb, either. Part of the reason why I think Zardes is still there is because the staff knows what they are getting with him and they do want to do their best this summer. Sargent is probably too inconsistent right now and has played 7 minutes since March. Didn't play a full 90' all season for WB, so there's also maybe some concern about match fitness. Ultimately, they probably see Zardes as the safer pick over the course of the next ~6 games.
