I can cast a baitcaster with either hand.
I mainly learned to do this because there is alot of current where I fish and the boat can be turning around.

I'm a righty but taught myself to cast with left hand, reel right. You would be surprised how many bites you miss making the transition. When I cast I immediately turn and click in the return when the bait hits the water and can feel the bait (plastic) sink. Oh and bait caster, no spinners here.

Why would the casting arm be any different with the boat turning around, unless one of your arms was put on backwards and you had 180* swivel of your head?
