ut it. It's a shame and a bad look for you and the others like you

So it's a bad look to know and understand that the coaches know more about football and are aware of what's needed. They also have information on recruits that the average fan doesn't have.

It's not about defending O. It's realizing that they know more about recruiting than me or you or just about anybody else in this forum. I can't imagine that you think that you know more than the coaches about what they're doing.

Is there a legit issue moving forward about certain positions ? Yeah we all want the best players at every position but to go all chicken little at this time when LSU is onto several good linemen seems a little premature.

Again I can't imagine how thinking, no knowing that the coaches are more informed about the current recruiting situation than the average message board poster could be a bad look for anyone or how it could be considered an opinion lacking objectivity. I'm sure that it's true for most college football programs so it's nothing revolutionary.

So O admitting that after LSU got whipped once again by bama that the talent in the trenches at LSU needed to get much better. The funny thing was he was the guy that recruited a lot of the guys that got whipped. So fast forward to this year and guess what we are looking at bama stealing more top lineman from LA. and talent on the Oline/dline thats comparable to what LSU has brought in the last 7 or 8 years. I know Coach O is talking a good game about the Lines but so far he is still having problems closing on filling lines with top notch talent.

Did you trust O when he stated that the trenches were a weakness following the Bama game? OP is questioning whether or not it’s being addressed effectively. No need to burn him at the stake.

That's funny. This exact concern was an off season topic last year and it was once again dismissed by the O pumpers like yourself because he was "on the trail" for good recruits at the time. Fast forward a year later, Coach O whiffed on almost all the DL recruits and managed to sign two 4* OG's.

This isn't bashing Coach O. This is stating the fact that he has missed on his highest rated DL every year since he recruited Rashard 4 years ago, and now looks like our top DL prospect, an in-state kid, is slipping away to Bama.

I don't think anyone claimed to know more than the coaches. It was a question asked on a message board about not having enough linemen.

Get off your high horse and quit being a dickhead.

Thats exactly what its all about with you. Has anyone questioned the HC in here, without you trying to defend or make more excuses for him this entire year?

The problem is whenever a LA kid is torn between another SEC school or LSU. LSU is at a disadvantage. Thats what the OP is trying to get you to understand. But you are so much about excuse making and defending O that your brain cant register.
Tell me one thing that he does better than:
Saban
Mullen
Fisher

O will get the top prospects that grew up loving LSU. Anyone else it will depend on the other teams closer.

If youre a top prospect and Orgeron and these 3 are in your living room, which one are you listening to?

There lies the problem and its a big one. Are you sure O is the answer to it?

Smith
Mathis
Wilson/Akers OOS lost both of them to Fisher.
Surtain
and now Roy.

Other teams have coach's too. You do realize this or do you?

So if a team has coaches, they'll automatically choose and then close the deal correctly each time?

Is there any school anywhere that the fan base can question decision making and the skill set of the HC since they all have coaches?
