JBE is a classic Big Government, Tax and Spending liberal Democrat who pretends to be pro life and honorable. If he had vetoed this bill he would have lost 75-25 against a dog in Louisiana.

This legislation is his Mary Landrieu Tap Dance Bill.
It doesn’t matter, because it will not take effect unless and until Mississippi’s passes SCOTUS. So he gets to pretend to be a conservative like Mary until his vote matters.

Now if he has National aspirations, he will evolve to pro choice in 1.2 milliseconds!
