I get the concerns MS has, they are the same issues the South LA fishermen have as well. This is harming their business, and when anyone has their business harmed, they tend to fight back.
But WTF other options do we have? Closing the BCS isn't a realistic option.

Given that this could end up being a huge environmental disaster, I expect other options to be introduced in the future, but I don't know what they would be. At any rate, nothing will be permanent.
