It’s pretty simple really. They have been fed this lie that Republicans are racists, they hate blacks in particular, they are going to take away their right to vote and eventually put them back in chains. That fear alone despite zero evidence to support it outweighs everything else you mentioned and keeps them voting for the party that literally embodied everything they fear. Dems are the party of the Klan, the party of Jim Crow, the party that did everything to deny them civil rights and their right to vote.
Actions speak louder than words. Most Blacks today (not the Al Sharpton types) look at how Blacks are treated by white southerners TODAY. Notice I said "white southerner".
That's because a political party is nothing more than an alignment of policies. It has no bearing on cultural differences or upbringing.
And not all white southerners are bad (obviously) but some refuse to forgo the principle of judging people by their actions not their skin tone.
Red states may not be directly taking away voting rights, but they do have the strictest voting rights. This isnt a bad thing by itself, but comes off as willingly making the voting process difficult.
Also, look at your candidates. Do you honestly believe Black middle class people look at Roy Moore type politicians and say "that's who I want to vote for". I cant speak for all of them but I want a candidate who isnt living in the past. The entire narrative of Blacks being better off falls apart when you have Republican candidates like Moore. Now if you had more guys like Kavanaugh that's a different story.

Who was rejected in a statewide election by Republican aisle-crossers who selected a Dem in a heavily, heavily, heavily Red state.

FFS, if you don't think that the vast majority of Republicans are more alike than different from Kavanaugh, then I don't know what to tell you.
