Yeah, having seen some more opinions come in Im going to consider some of these other options first. Im not going to go with anything that looks terrible though, but Ill consider some outdoor blinds and shade screens first after checking it out.

I see blinds.com has solar shade samples that they'll ship for free in case anyone else is considering.
I'll have to see if I can get the wife on board with having shades over all our windows though since losing natural light from now all the way to Fall sounds like it would be the biggest con going with these.
