I mean they all do this for the most part. I'm not saying Toyota and Honda don't do it better. But how many guys are simply going to take their word?

I just think they'd be crazy to straight drop the 5.7 when the 4.6 sucks and add something new. Phase something in and the 5.7 out at least.

For all I know the twin turbo will be the standard and the hybrid will be the "optional" engine.

And, like I said, the 5.7 is very popular with them - anything they put in the Land Cruiser they absolutely stand behind. So, they will be likewise convinced of its replacement. Now, if they're taking the U.S. Tundra down another road, we'll just have to see where that heads, but it would be uncharted territory since the 5.7's introduction.
