Why would they get rid of the 5.7? That makes no sense at all. I don't know why they even have the other engine, what is it like a 4.6 V8. It gets basically the same MPG and they are harder to resale.

Kind of sounds like ford and the ecoboost.

Have a 5.0L V8, 3.5L turbo 6, and 2.7L turbo 6.

Just diversifying the truck so more BAWS that dont actually use a truck can now have a truck and look cool.

It's falling behind and it was never fuel economical in the first place. Again, I'm not convinced it is going away anytime soon. The Toyota powers-that-be love that motor, even in the international market.
