The only trim you can get the twin turbo ecoboost with Ford is the Raptor and F150 Limited. I assume this Toyots engine will be a premium option as well so with the elimination of the 5.7 v8, I wonder what their "every man" engine will be. I suppose its possible they develop a new v8 but I wouldn't think a classic v6 will satisfy people the way the EcoBoost has.

I'm not sure about the rumor the 5.7 is going away. If it is, watch what will replace it in the Land Cruiser.

Not true. All V6 ecoboost(in the trucks) are twin turbo. They come in 2 sizes and 3 power outputs. 2.7l, 3.5l, and 3.5l high output in the raptor and limited.
