How anyone thinks it's relevant is beyond me. It makes them look stupid as hell. As was mentioned in this thread earlier O is 31 and 11 since then. You think that O learned by his mistakes? I would say that he has. As another poster mentioned Alleva worked against Les and he pulled the same tricks against O. Alleva was not a good AD. Woodward will give O the tools to succeed. If he doesn't it will be on O and when he has to go on down the road it'll be his own fault. I firmly believe that O will ultimately be successful here and LSU will return to dominance.

If you're going to tout his past success as a recruiter, why can't someone else acknowledge his past failures as a head coach?

It’s not relevant now but it certainly was a valid topic when he was hired. It is part of his resume, does it mean he can’t do better, of course not but to act like it was not a legitimate concern during the hiring process is nonsense
