He was a safety in HS right? Even though he played CB last year it was mainly out of necessity. I would guess he moves back to safety, so his competition is Delpit (who will be gone after this year) and Stevens/Harris. I don't think he's in danger of being passed up too much. He'll get a good bit of playing time this year and he should be a prime time contributor next year.

Playing doesnt seem to be the problem. It looks like off the field issues and/or grades

I figured he would take over for Delpit in 2020 and be a rotational player this year. Really don't understand the benefit of him leaving from a football standpoint. Must be something else going on.
