I’ll preface this by saying I don’t know a lot about this story prior to entering this thread but your quote is a little misleading. It does say they spoke with investigators about it but many are backing out of testifying. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty in the case against him. One thing is for sure though, his case needs to go to trial and he probably should at minimum be forced to retire.

As an aside, Gallagher's wife was stellar throughout the ordeal. She is one tough, classy, well-spoken woman.
