I may be wrong but I always assumed JBE wasn’t as far left as many of the other dems are nowadays, is he not?

He probably believes his abortion and gun positions, however, he is more than willing to appoint people with diametrically opposed views to positions of power.

And on every other issue - especially economic - he is a Communist. And that’s not hyperbole. He is a bitter, leftist, tyrant.

The “you can’t have LSU football” was a glimpse into the real John Bel....

For example, the Louisiana Department of Health is run by Dr. Rebekah Gee, whose history is pretty clearly on the pro-abortion side of the equation and JBE appointed her.

Another example, LDH isn’t spending a dime defending the admitting-privileges bill the legislature recently passed or the other abortion cases the state is busy fighting, with legal fees mounting over a million dollars. That bill is being footed by the Attorney General’s office, whose budget Edwards doesn’t control. Edwards, has, however, repeatedly gutted that agency’s funding in his executive budgets since taking office.

Which is pretty strange, especially when Edwards makes statements like he did in June of last year saying that the case is “worth fighting.” Really? Then why does one of the least well-funded agencies in Louisiana’s entire government have to cover the cost?

It starts to become a little suspicious. Especially when “pro-life” John Bel Edwards never said anything about Northam’s cruel infanticide comments.

At the very least, he's one last hurrah for old school dixiecrats that miss the days of Huey Long and Edwin Edwards, you know the same guys that ruined this state and institutionalized a lot of corruption and graft in Louisiana.
