No one who claims they are a fiscal conservative, can also claim that they are against abortion.
I'd rather the girl not get knocked up.
But given a choice between a quick early term procedure, and 50 plus years of welfare payments and other societal costs for an unwanted child... I'll gladly support the abortion.
Whatever caused them to get pregnant is between them and the god of their choice.
Teach safe sex all day long, for sure. But don't force all of us to pay for decades for the stupid decisions of a few.

It would be much cheaper to let old people die than keep them chugging along with Medicare. But we do that, too.

Err, abortion is legal now and we are paying for decades right now.
But if it’s just about money then let’s kill off all the old, the feeble, the special needs folks and save a bunch of money.
And if that doesn’t save enough, we can cull the population. We could give aptitude tests. Kill off the bottom 10, 20 per cent perhaps.
Where do we stop?
