You aren't.
WoW was fun to noob around. Run around and explore. Once that wore off I strictly stayed on the better MMO with CoH.
Vent and TS early days with WoW had some sort of magic too.

The private servers are still alive and kicking.

Classic private servers have more active players than retail...
