So 20 years from now when people check our record vs ranked teams all the wins vs a team that wasn’t ranked when we played them but finished the season ranked 24th for example will be more valuable than our wins vs top 10 teams that finish unranked?

trout youre really trying to sit here and say that beating a #10 team thats unranked at the end of the season is the same as beating a team that finishes the season #10?

come on man. i know youre looking for facts to support your stance like everyone else but goodness brother.

Hey look at Ricky with another straw man post. I gave him the facts about the 4* players who don’t contribute and what does Ricky do? He pulls another straw man telling me how many 4 star players are on the roster.

im posting sites that get paid to evaluate talent that ranked lsu has one of the most talented teams in cfb AFTER YOUR bullshite TRANSFER stance.

in OCTOBER of 2018 247 says lsu is one of the most talented teams in cfb.
no one cares about the opinion of some O cultist

I think the best answer to this would be in the form of another question. Seasons are measured by wins/losses vs strength of schedule. At what point of the season is the strength of the opponent measured?

I't should always be the final poll.

However I've been told on this board that final polls are also worthless.

Not all of us have the intellectual currency to hit people with "reading comprehension much?" and "you misspelled this word" type arguments. We all bow before your eternal wisdom.

Well, I'm not surprised you think it takes intellectual prowess to type a one word response of "you" which is exactly what he did.

You can interpret it for me if you would like, since you speak that code.

you saw what we saw....you really believe this BS...with a transfer QB and a backfield without a feature proven back?

What just because the experts say so? Talk about fking gullible.

not to mention an average at best O-line. The defense was the only solid part of that team.

I agree. But, I do understand the point of beating a team and then that team not being as good at the end of the season.

I think LSU Baseball is a perfect example of SOS right now. We are on the bubble to host and our SOS is a big selling point, but that's going to be based on where those teams now. The quadrant 1 wins work the same way.

I've seen this as well and still don't understand the point of it.

Keep your straw man going. You can’t argue the facts about 15 and 16, so you straw man.

We're not talking about what could have happened...we're talking about what actually happened.

I'm still amazed that he was able to hold that '17 class together. As much as I hated the hire I always had to give him a lot of credit for that.
