You are inferring the literal definition of “wiretapping,” when it is clear, at least to any objective and reasonable minded person, that Trump was referring to surveillance, or “spying” if you prefer, on his campaign.

So just in case you’re unaware of how Trump himself, or even his campaign as a whole, was surveiled, or wiretapped, if you will, I’ll give you the most obvious method. That little thing called the FISA warrant that’s been discussed ad nauseum for 3 Year’s now. You see, FISA warrants have this little feature called the “two-hop” rule. This rule means that, using Carter Pagefor example, investigators could datamine the communications of anyone that Page spoke with via text, email, phone call, etc AND anyone that those individuals communicated with over that time frame, plus, their other communications-as far back as the 18 months prior to obtaining the warrant. So in Pages case, as a campaign advisor, he was obviously communicating with other campaign members and staff. And those people were communicating with other figures within the campaign. So, when Carter Page communicates with Steve Bannon, and Bannon communicates with Trump= they could obtain and search through the communications of both Bannon and Trump. Which is precisely what Trump meant, and it’s exactly what happened.

You can call it surveillance or spying, wiretapping or whatever other obscure term you’d like, but the results are the same; Trump, his campaign, and others in his Orbit, had all of their communications monitored by the corrupt Obama intel communities.

You are full of crap. Trump was specifically referring to his phones at Trump Tower being tapped. Don't give me that "reasonable minded person" crap to try to cover for your fact-free position.

Secondly, Trump was claiming that the wire tapping was done on his campaign.

Since the FISA warrant was only applied for on October 20-ish, how much actual wire tapping/surveillance of actual significance do you think was done before the election.
