John Wick is not as good as everybody hypes it to be, but it's action sequences are old school, high quality, and highly thought out.
There's no shaky cam jump cut bullshite from what I remember, just long-take highly choreographed stunts...and Keanu is the perfect guy for that. Plus, now everybody loves him because of his public perosna and perception as being one of the nicest, coolest guys in the business.
I've seen part 1, and although I thought it was quite overrated, I'd still pay money to see the new one. It's kind of a throwback to the great action films of the 80s and 90s.

Not at all. JW is very slick and stylish. Everything looks "cool." Compare that to Die Hard or any of Stallone or Schwarznegger's work in the 80s. Those were more realistic, gritty films. I like the JW movies, but they are the nu male of the action genre.
