There’s no way 43 year old Tiger will be even money again in a major. If he was even 3:1 at the last one, it’s still a bad gamble.

If he's won 3 in a row, he absolutely would be.

ETA - would is strong, but it wouldn't be a surprise to me at all in that situation.
