Don’t earn an income, you don’t pay the income tax. Don’t buy anything, you don’t pay the sales tax. Don’t own property, you don’t pay the property taxes.

I’m sure you are ok with all of the Ds tax plans (incomes, wealth, etc.) on the higher earners and wealthiest individuals, because they could just make less money or have less wealth.
