Ok that’s a lot of room.
In general, Summer can be a good time to travel to the Caribbean because on a lot of islands it’s low season. You lose that advantage on a cruise which has more dynamic pricing.
Personally I think the only US virgin Island worth a visit is St. John and that if you are going to travel that far might as well leave the United States.
Of course plenty of spots in Mexico could work. Or go BVIs. If you can sail or have other boat experience renting a charter boat could be a very great play and wonderful way to make lots of memories.
Or go to St. Martin, St. Barths, Turks and Caicos, Aruba, etc... and price shop some villas with a pool.
