Put it in storage. If you let one person break the HOA rules then you set a precedent. This is typical I don't like the rules so I don't think they should apply to me mentally going on lately.

The article doesn’t specify if he daily drives this truck, but let’s say he did. I don’t disagree with your precedent argument BTW, just discussing.
My truck doesn’t fit in my garage with the hitch in and I’m too lazy to remove and reinstall every time it’s needed. What is legitimately to do if this is his primary, daily truck, and it doesn’t fit in his garage.
It’s not like it’s on blocks with the front end removed, it’s just ugly according to the HOA.

It didn't break the rules. They can't define moderately severe body damage anyway. Besides there isn't any body damage, paint is fit and finish not body. That's the equivalent of saying you have too much brake dust on your wheels.
