That's for frying fish or making gumbos and jambalaya.

Stick with jet style burners for boiling seafood.

The trick is getting it back up to a boil as quickly as possible once you've put the seafood into the pot.

You can overcook your crawfish if you can't get it back to a boil soon.

If you have to use a non jet style burners, be sure to cook to color, not wait for it to come back to a boil.

All this. It's going to take OP an eternity to bring water to a boil with the burner in the pic. Use your jet burner.
