Proabably not. Many of the allegations in this trial so far are far more severe anyway. NCAA won’t do anything to anyone though so it doesn’t matter.

For anyone wondering:

There was no warrant to record WW. The warrant was for Christian Dawkins. Neither the tape nor the supposed transcript are germaine to the case unless WW's name is redacted. In fact, Wade's name should never have been released.

The real question for us LSU MBB fans is this: will the NCAA punish without having any evidence in hand? There is a disagreement about whether the NCAA can do that now, but they can conduct their own investigation like they did on Javonte Smart.

Jay Bilas whining on ESPN saying “what else do you have to see” to Arizona and LSU tells me he realizes nothing of significance is gonna happen now.

No bombshell from trial. No smoking gun.

Wade is in good shape imo.

This sounds like a terrific strategy for the long term interests of LSU as an institution.

No. Wade was not even working with Dawkins it was just him venting in a phone call. It's not remotely involved to the case.

Part of why the whole thing is so frustrating. It was purely an accident.

The NCAA has been caught doing that so many times I doubt they do it again. But it's the NCAA. You never know.

doubt it gets brought up, at least in terms of any statements made by Will Wade. Any testimony on that would be hearsay.

The NCAA doesn't want to look at things they don't have to. If you cooperate you get nailed. If you tell them to kick rocks they go away.

How about something more than hearsay, Jay? How about some proof that Wade broke a single fricking rule?

For someone who claims to be so anti-NCAA it's so weird to see Bilas begging them to do something to Wade and Miller.

If you start to notice an impact on LSU as an institution that you can specifically tie to this, please point it out. Betcha won't.
