I looked at SONRIS, and I saw the production on one of the Conoco wells was 60 barrels a day. I was expecting closer to 1000 a day. I am guessing the well is still being developed? Going to be hard to recoup those drilling costs on 60 barrels a day.

The production graph of a typical AC well is not unlike that of a Tiger Woods pitching wedge.

As of now it’s uncertain what their first well is doing. They clearly ip’d the well within a few hours of flowback with the large water volumes. I heard rumors from a guy who is doing work for cop that it had cleaned up to 1800 bopd but as is usual in this business it’s strictly a rumor until real production numbers hit sonris. Eog is going Updip with their ironwood well like others have mentioned. Word is marathon ran into high pressure in the curve landing their lateral and were worried the pressure was higher than the intermediate string was rated for. Supposedly a vintage 90’s chalk blowout occurred in the area nearby. Believe they are drilling the second well pretty close by.
