YES
I’ve stated this many times here
BDCS AND REITS plus some
Good yielding ETFS
Glad to see somebody caught on. Yes I prefer monthly dividends.

I’ve liked CIM and STOR as REITs, and just bought CSWC as a bdc.
What are some of your favorites?

So do you own them in a tax deferred account (401k or ira or Roth IRA) or do you just take the dividend as ordinary income?

Good luck getting out of them. A lot of them are extremely illiquid.

I’m not worried about selling my few shares. Volume is 100k+ per day. It’s in my Roth so no plans to sell soon.

I’ve had zero issues on ones I’ve sold.

Thanks for the list above. Added them to my watch list and will probably snag some as dividends come in from others. Trying to ramp up passive income on stocks so that when I'm ready it can just snowball and I shift to real estate.

Thanks for this thread.
I keep going back and forth on how I want to invest in the market.
I have 3 cash flowing rental properties (5 total including my wife's 2), and I max out my 401k. So this is really just "play money". I invested in Apple, VTI, and the Dogs of the Dow companies. My idea was just to sit on these and forget about them honestly.
Well that all changed a little once I started seeing dividends come in. I might pivot towards REITS and BDCs.
Opinions? Should I pull out of VTI since my 401k is (most likely) concentrating on ETFs? I like to keep my Apple and AT&T because they've done really well and I've received dividends from them as well.
This isn't a crazy amount. Only ~$2200 is being traded currently.
