I've had this happen plenty of times on really bumpy flights.

Its usually the mouth breathers. Same people who immediately stand up when the plane arrives at the gate like rushing to stand up and get their bag down will get them off the plane quicker than others.

Is it wrong to want these people tarred and feathered?

Easily my biggest pet peeve when it comes to flying. these people who stand up early actually waste everyone's time and get to the luggage claim at a slower pace.

I also associate these people as the same people who switch lanes every second in traffic.

I usually just am tired of sitting at that point so I stand and stretch but I get what you are saying.
