Ferrer posted to social media that due to “personal reason” she will not be competing this season. Plans to compete next year. What is this about? I know it was mentioned she had pneumonia but is it so serious that she can’t compete or train for a long time? Or is more going on?

I saw that on her Instragram. Huge loss in terms of depth on bars. Wishing her the best of luck. I know she’ll come back stronger than ever.

This is a big loss from a depth perspective on vault and bars.
She wasn't going to be in the bars lineup once Alyona gets healthy but she was at least a decent plug in. Our vaulting unit is my main concern right now. We desperately need Ryan and Kai to get healthy ASAP.
