Is it to early to talk about potential lineups?
Who has been the most impressive so far?

Still early but I think the base of all these lineups are figured out with some flexibility on a few events.

Kiya will be in the all around from the get go. She has been wonderful this fall and has actually been one of the biggest team leaders. She leads by example with her gymnastics, hard working kid. She has a legit shot to win SEC freshmen of the year if she stays healthy. She will be a fan favorite from the get go.

As the other poster said, Ruby and Edney are both looking strong on all their returning events. Ruby seems to continue to get better each year.

Kai is another true freshmen LSU will use significantly from the get go. Vault, bars and floor are her events but she might get a shot on beam at some point. Staying healthy is the key for her. If she can, she will be a pretty big impact for us.

I think the beam lineup will be the same at last year with Kiya Johnson moving into the 5th spot behind Campbell.

Just some other notes:

-Durante is looking extremely strong in training right now. Leaps are looking better.
-Edwards is looking very good on floor and vault. We will see more opportunities for her this year on floor.
- Kamryn Ryan has been great on vault and floor in practice, likely will see some opportunities.

Getting Alyona back could change the complexion for us on bars and beam. She is doing well so far and is ahead of schedule rehab wise.

So is Madison Rau coming to LSU as a walk-on? Based on Instagram it looks like she’s going to commit to LSU. Also, I think LSU has officially snagged Ballard. Just saw on Instagram where she commented she can’t wait to be a Tiger. Just something to keep an eye on.
