Are you not from the south? Every single year the south is covered in pollen the entire month of April you fricking idiot.

quote:Not sure what color river birch pollen is but that was a whole bunch of yellow. I am thinking that birch trapped a bunch of yellow pine pollen. If so, the pollen from a pine (the yellow stuff) is too large to cross the membrane meaning it has very little effect on allergies.

It is fricking the middle of April, i.e., the middle of fricking springtime.
Tennessee is even a southern state.
The left is absolutely imbecilic.

At Mom's place in Hot Springs Village last week early morning I had to get some eggs and milk at the nearby Dollar Store, when I came out and turned back to the Village it looked like a deep dry summer lawn mowing type dust cloud like you would see along the interstate or rural roadside...except it was chartreuse. Noticed the 2 guards vehicles at the gate were covered in just about 4 hours sitting out. Since I drove through 3 more clouds of it on the way home, my vehicle got a covering of it too.
I'll be 55 in June, never have I seen actual clouds of pollen before. The air was close to absolutely still and we had a rain the night before is probably the trigger for pollen cloud formation.

Old News. They have been speculating about that for weeks here in East TN.
Question? If a flower blooms in February rather than March, do the blossoms stay on the tree longer? I think not.
The Red Buds bloom, stay on the trees for a couple of weeks, then fall off. The Dogwoods do the same. Its the same with Oaks, Maple, and Ash. So how is there more pollen?
Another situation. I planted a plum tree in my back yard and it produced a few plums the first couple of years. For the last five years the tree blooms, then there is a freeze killing all the blooms. It hasn't produced a plum in five years.
Winters must be getting longer.

The tree falling caused the pollen “bomb”. Good Lord. This new shtick of yours is just awful.
