I look at Tiger baseball like I’m sure Bama fans look at football. If LSU isn’t in the title game every year in Omaha, it’s not good enough. But that’s just me.
Fire away

I understand that but after years of being there every year under the great Bertman , I got spoiled. We have the talent to get Omaha still but I don’t believe we have the coach to do it consistently

Do you understand how much baseball has changed since then?

So by your measure Skip Bertman was a failure at LSU? He only made it to the title game 5 times throughout his whole career. Even from 91-00 he only made it to the championship game 5 out of those 10 years.

You will find one team who has had equal to or more success than LSU has over the recent past. Just one. Football is not even remotely close to baseball in any single way. There are more teams, there is WAYYYYYYY more parity. Your expectations are simply not realistic. There is not one single coach who could come to LSU and accomplish what you expect. Not even Skip could have done it.

Except for the fact that we are possibly gonna go a decade without winning and really only competitive once in Omaha. How many has bama won this decade.

Lsu should be a top 8 seed every year. That's not happening this year.

I don't know about every year, but definitely most years.

We should host a regional every year though. Less than that is underachieving for this program imo.

Until last year they were on a 6 year streak of being a national seed. To me over a five year cycle should be a national seed at least 2 years, host a regional for 2, and maybe one down year where you are a 2 seed somewhere. In those years you should make it to supers 4 out of 5 and Omaha 3 out of those 4 times in Supers. I think that easily doable at LSU.

Swing and a miss on this one. Baseball is not like football. It just doesn't work out in baseball even when you have all the pieces. And no I'm not saying we have all the pieces this year. We do look like shite this year.

Do you watch the games or just repeat what people said about recruiting classes? This is not a good team, CPM at the helm or not.

In my opinion no matter what how much talent we have or what we are ranked, or any other high praise, it doesn’t matter. The facts are that we will be out Coached no matter what we have

I don't see how you can call this a fact. Your 1st sentence is correct b/c it's your opinion.

He's won the CWS once & he's been there twice. Did he become a worse coach over the years?
