re: Really big weekend for baseball

In my opinion, there are not really any terrible teams in the SEC. People who keep saying this really don’t have a clue how good this league is from top to bottom. Relying on Stats isn’t something that is a testament to how good or for that matter how bad a team is. Anyone can be beat by a lesser team and we have seen this over and over again throughout the years. Everyone kept saying Missouri was bad except for pitching, yet they had 23 wins before we went up there to play them. Their hitting was pretty darn good also and swung the bat 1-9 all 3 games. They also gave us all we wanted at home last year if people remember. Baseball is a game of just grinding and competing thru all the adversity and injuries and think our team has done that up to this point. We all want LSU to be dominant and they still maybe can be moving on, but right now we need to win anyway we can and need all fans support.

That sums up my feelings too. I thought we were cruising after winning the series @ State and vs. aTm. Then we stubbed our toe in Missouri and suffered those injuries. But this weekend and next would be a perfect time to turn it around.
