Also don't get why water is such a huge deal to them. Like the NK and WW clearly aren't mindless creatures. Why they can't get the wights to build boats is beyond me.

They can organize huge salvage operations to haul dead dragons from below icy depths, but building boats is out of the question.

To me its why cant they just use the boats the humans would have left behind when they die
