I don't care what they are in the standings I am disappointed in what the baseball program has become. This isn't the LSU baseball I grew up watching. It's boring minus a few comeback wins that we should have never been behind in. We can't hit!

Of course it isn't. There are a lot more teams in the conference pouring money into baseball. Scholarship limitations are different. Bats are different and we don't have 15 guys that are juiced up on steroids.

4th in the conference in batting average in league play. We average about 7 runs a game in league play which is only 2 runs behind State in the top spot with 9 runs a game.

The LSU baseball you grew up with if you grew up in the 90s is dead! Tops for baseball is gone! 50 guys on the roster is gone! Skip was great but damn did he have some help and advantages others did not.

That you say you don’t care where we are in the standings is rather telling and you’re clearly another that thinks everything is football if you think we should never even trail. As far as the baseball you grew up with, if you mean gorilla ball that’s not coming back, they changed the bats but I suppose that’s just another excuse for PM to point that out
