I say that these bribes actually helped other students get into a university that would normally not have had the capacity to facilitate them, and also gave them a better education than they otherwise would have.
You haven't paid attention to the "product" these schools are turning out. Nothing has improved as far facilities and especially so-called educators. These are indoctrination centers that are taking in bribes.

I don't doubt that universities need a lot of improvement, but I don't think things would have been any better without the bribes.

Universities spend money like the government, for every $1 spent they probably gain about 10 cents in value. But still better than nothing.
