If I have a multimillion dollar contract at risk, and I'm suspected of engaging in actions that may get me fired, and I know I'm innocent, I'm DEMANDING to immediately meet with my boss to explain. I'm DEMANDING to get interviews with media to explain. And I won't stop until my name is cleared.
Now that's just me. Maybe others would immediately lawyer up and not say a word. But if I've got a legit explanation for my actions, I'm SCREAMING it for all to hear.
