I’m not worried about big names have you heard if they are going to give him a big enough budget to hire more basketball minds to have in the front office.

My bad. I came across some video of LeBron and Rich Paul taking him out to lunch in Cali

Then I saw it was from a year ago

I know some of the things Ferry asked for in the meeting. No clue what ownership is gonna give him if they give him the job. But Ferry wants this to be a real organization, similar to what the Clippers have become. Large scouting, analytic and development departments. A good assistant underneath him, and a robust basketball ops staff. Ferry is fine not getting the job. He'd rather not get it than get it but not have all the resources he needs.

But I have no sources inside ownership, so I have no idea what they are willing to give up or do.

Ok thanks for info good to hear that Ferry won’t just take the job just to have one and will insist on fixing the organization.

This part would make me feel much more comfortable with the hire and would go against the narrative that he has "no leverage" to ask for changes. I wonder if he would demand these things be written into his contract similar to in ATL.
