We've blocked out Cuba for 50 years and what do we have to show for it? They are no less communist today than they were 50 years ago. They pose no threat to themselves or anyone else. We treat North Korea better than we do Cuba.

What do you suggest we do?

Any money or aid we send goes directly into the hands of the Castros and the Cuban regime.

Just like the Chinese, the Saudis, the Iranians, the Venezuelans, etc.

What do I suggest we do? I suggest we do "nothing." Remove all artificial barriers and let the natural market do it's thing.

If a company wants to invest in Cuba, they will need to follow Cuban rules and understand the risks that entails. If they still want to do that, let them at it.

We have US companies doing business and traveling to all sorts of repressive hellholes. What's so special about Cuba?

Well, the money is being spent currently anyway. Right now it's going to cartels and human traffickers.

But the US doesn't have a trade embargo against the cartels, so I guess that makes it okay to stop this deal.
