I read something where Lipsey wanted to bring back Skip Bertman as an interim, but Skip wasn't much, if at all better, than Alleva
Are you serious? Skip is so much more of a leader, a visionary, and a do-what-s'-best-for-LSU guy that Alleva could ever be capable of doing.

Skip's tenure was a tough one for LSU fans because he did some of the tough things that needed to be done to improve revenue and facilities. I didn't agree with all of them, but Skip never showed that he was putting Skip above LSU as AD.

Alleva lives and breathes Alleva. He is 100% about self-promotion and self-preservation, with a big dose of kneejerk sprinkled on top.

Skip is 80 years old and has had some pretty major health issues since he retired. As much as I like him, it would be very surprising to see him back.

He had the foresight to tell a guy like Petrino to take a hike and hired Les. Sure we might have still won some games with Petrino, but he's fricked up every team he has coached since 2005.
