Only if it’s a rifle (SBR). If it’s a pistol you don’t. Last I checked, If you get a lower receiver and it’s listed as a pistol lower you can put a rifle upper on it, but not the other way around.

Not with a pistol brace ( the lower must be bought as a pistol, FYI)

Also, anything and everything AR is cheaper now. It’s a buyers market to say the least.

Okay so yall will have to excuse my ignorance, the AR platform is not something that I am well versed in.

I saw on the PSA website they called all there 300blk pistols however the looked like regular short barreled ARs to me. What constitutes making it a pistol?

Also yes I would like to be able to hunt with it so need a barrel that will give good accuracy at 100-150yrds.

Also I won't be running a suppressor, atleast not for right now.
