For whatever you pay resorts for when you stay there. R&b, food, golf etc. This isn't a difficult concept to understand

The total cost of the stay, including hotel rooms for Tiffany and her security detail, was $23,000

Why is this even worth a passing mention, much less an actual story?

What is the point again??

So if the cost had he stayed somewhere else is not relevant to "the point", and the percentage that went to the hotel is "not relevant", what is the point you're trying to make??

Right. What I’m asking is whether the resorts are getting more or less than market value. So we can compare it to what every other president’s trips have cost taxpayers. This isn’t a difficult concept.

Trump has saved taxpayers 800k in two years by not taking a salary.
I do not believe this is correct. My understanding is that he donates his salary to a different charity every quarter.

Very commendable, but the money still comes from governmental coffers.

Why would he pay resort fees to stay at his own place?
Because it would be illegal not to do so. He does not own the resorts personally, but through a series of corporations.

Not sure why this information was worthy of a story, or what the average salary of a Serbian has to do with anything. But, damn, Serbians are some poors.

The point was that money being spent at his resorts is money his corporations make

Just pointing it out for all the hypocrites. Dude is all about money so I'm certainly not surprised but he's definitely using the system to put money into his resorts

So what? How many steps away from some businessman must a transaction be in order for it to be "legit" in you opinion? This business operation is involved with that organization, etc, etc?
Its , I imagine, very diversified, even if the Trump name is used as a selling point.

Serious question...how much do you guess Trump personally acquired in those transactions? What dollar amount makes it a "scandal"?

I didn't say it wasn't "legit". I'm just glad you have pivoted from does he make money to how much money does he make. His end game as a resort owner is for that resort to make money. I'd be interested to see how mar a lagos numbers have changed, if any, since becoming potus.

That's not true at all. He can get comped rooms regardless of how many "series of corporations" own the resort.

What are you talking about? Do you think Jeff Schultz pays for coffee at Starbucks? What law exactly would be broken?

And it would have been much higher had he and his family also been charged for rooms.
