This hurts like hell and I have a golf tourney this weekend. Doctor sold me a pair for 60 bucks but theres a ton online for 1/3 that price. I know some of you oldheads have this too. What works? I've also tried wrapping my foot up.

Laser therapy. Helps a ton.

Rolling a frozen water bottle on your arch.

NEVER go barefoot. Never wear flip flops. I use a Birkenstock insert for 60.00. Have totally healed. Also their sandals around the house.

The custom molded ones always worked best for me.

Get some KT tape. Youtube can show you how to use it. Will make a huge difference immediately and eventually you wont need it anymore. Big thing is you will be able to play golf this weekend.

Get customs made.
Either see a podiatrist or a foot specialized orthopedist.
I personally would recommend an orthopedist, as podiatrist try to sell you a bunch of treatments.
(I am 47, and have been dealing with PF issues since my 20s; sports and very high arches don’t mix)

went to the podiatrist last week. he sold me the insoles and a boot thing. boot is too small so waiting on replacement. Do you buy any insoles other than what they give you?

I went to a running shoe store (called Run On in Dallas) and they recommended CURREX inserts. They've worked perfectly. About $50 for a pair. They are better than the $20 brands.

No.
I used the ones I got back in 2003 until they wore out last year, and then had a new pair made. Insurance should cover it.
I would also suggest looking into shoes such as Eccos and Clarks.
Also Vionic makes flip flops that are PF friendly.
You might also want to take stock of any meds (if you are) taking. Sometimes that can complicate things.

Sounds more like your buddy’s clientele.
I’m tall and fit, but you can stick your finger under my arch and not touch my foot.
