The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew should be in fine form during early June. You can take the underground directly there, it's just a 5-10 minute walk from the train station.

+1 to the Bermondsey Beer Mile. I love Hawke's ginger beer & ciders, and the Hawke's tap room is a fun place.

I always recommend the Churchill War Rooms. And since you'll be there in June, you should see a play at Shakespeare's Globe theatre. They have a schedule here: summer 2019 schedule

Really enjoyed this. I walked right in, but hear you need to go early during travel months. Other favorite was Tower of London. Make sure to wait for a free tour from a Beefeater.

Some have been mentioned-

Churchill War Rooms (buy your tickets online in advance for the specific date)
Tower of London
Westminister Abbey (including the Pyx Chamber, etc)
St Paul’s Cathedral
Abbey Road (if Beatles fans)
The Thames River Dinner Cruise is nice, a bit pricey but a great way to see the Thames
Globe Theatre
British Museum (Free!)
Imperial War Museum
The National Gallery (if you like art)
Walkabout Trafalgar Square and around Buckingham palace entrance

Get familiar with the Tube and use it. Get an Oyster Card (Visitor Edition)
