We’re happy to report that the nose tackle position looks to be in good hands athletically with Tyler Shelvin and Siaki Ika.

Shelvin seems to be in much better shape than last year, and Ika looks like a block of granite, in a good way.

Both were called on in a drill to run about 40 yards, and neither seemed to be lagging even on the third and fourth repetitions. You’ll notice Shelvin (No. 72) in the video, though Ika (No. 62) ran on the opposite side of the field and is hard to see.
