I’ve lived in Georgia and Ohio. I’d take the 3-4 month’s of cold over the 9 months of heat and humidity any day.

I now live in NYC
I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.

The weather here isn't all that different anymore.

It's currently 40 in Charlotte right now and they're expecting snow. It's 45 in NYC. In the peak of winter when the midwest got that "arctic blast" it was about 10-15 here and around 18-20 there.

The only difference I see is it does snow a little more here, and even with that, NOT a lot. (although it hasn't at all this year up here) but when it does snow they are much more prepared. Down in NC we have no clue wtf what are doing and the roads are awful for days especially if it doesn't get below freezing and melt.

That said, summers are still humid as anything up here too.

I can't relate or comment on a place in the midwest like Ohio or Minnesota or a city in New England.

After living up north and in the south east, I'll take snow every single time.
