If some dude you just met does it and you’re standing on a platform next to your own husband, while he’s getting an award or making some speech with some random dude you just met smelling your hair-it’s creepy AF. Worse, what the hell is anyone supposed to do in that setting? Embarrass your husband getting the award worse. Make a scene at the biggest moment of his life?
However, Wednesday's point goes way beyond mere creepiness: Biden's actions in these circumstances are more than inappropriate - they are a blatant show of dominance. It's every much as bad as when a male boss does it to one of his employees, or a superior officer in the military does it to a subordinate.
He's basically saying to the world, "I'm the fricking Vice President and I'll touch you in anyway I goddam please. And there's not shite you can do about it."
Seriously, if this were ANY political candidate other than Uncle Joe, his career would be over. And rightfully so.
