If you love plasma the only comparable current technology is OLED. I'd highly suggest looking at one OLED before deciding on traditional LCD panels.

I'm not sure the difference on QLED vs OLED, but I know the Plasma wouldn't really work in my new living room even if it was the right size. The entire living room wall is giant windows and the glare is crazy.
