This is a very cool block right by downtown.

If it is warm enough you can take a guided kayak trip at sunset that starts at a park just west of downtown. You go out by a lighthouse then over to downtown by the Rock Hall then back. It was like $15 a person and pretty cool.

worked there one summer and it's very underrated .... Great lakes brewery, some cool music venues, mild weather, good restaurants old and new, ball games and the RnR museum. I can have fun anywhere for 72 hours, but managed to maintain a decent time over two months.
