This. Check the soil temp 2 and 4 inches deep. Need to get it down before it hits 50 degrees

roger that.. I didnt put any down this year since I thought I was going to be seeding a new back yard. Will do so next year.

The ground temp never gets below 50 degrees in Louisiana, ever.
